Vocabulary/Summaries of Maus I: My Father Bleeds History (Chapters 1-2)
Definitions and Sentences of Vocabulary
Students will define the assigned vocabulary
words and include the sentence from the book
with an in text citation.
Pictures of Vocabulary
Students will provide a picture to represent their vocabulary words (either literal or figurative)
and write a one-sentence summary explaining their choice using the vocabulary word in a
sentence.

Symbolic Holocaust Picture
Students will find an actual picture that symbolically represents a situation and/or character
from the chapter and write a one-sentence summary explaining their choice.
