Mardi Gras 2016 parade information
 Theme: A Parade from the Past. Our theme stems from our wonderful heritage. Please
decorate in any historic fashion you desire, i.e., railroad history, historic era you desire,
history of baseball, history of music, etc.
 Parade applications are due January 20, 2016.
 Participants will be contacted by January 25, 2016 and given their entry number and a map of
the parade route.
 The Mardi Gras parade begins at 3 p.m., Saturday, February 6, 2016.
 Line-up begins at 12:30 p.m., and participants must be in line by 2 p.m. Judging of the floats
will begin at 2 p.m.
 Items must be thrown clear of the roadway barricades.
 All floats must have a minimum of two (2) escorts for safety purposes.
 No horses, motorcycles or ATVs.
 Paper items tend to be thrown to the ground causing a trash issue. Please limit printed
material.
