RECOMMENDATIONS
We discussed how to streamline the process and gave some suggestions for communicating with
the students. We also talked about online work (outside of Missouri).
SUMMARY OF DISCUSSION ITEMS/ACTIVITIES OF COMMITTEE
We heard 31 appeals from out-of-state students this past year, 27 cases in 2013 and 4 cases in
2014. Most, but not all of the verdicts were consistent with the Admissions Office (denials).
Each student hearing lasted about 30 minutes. On average, each meeting (consisting of several
students) lasted a couple of hours. Most committee members were present for the hearings. We
have adjourned for the academic year.
