Work under the general supervision of attending pediatricians. Attend deliveries, Assess
diagnose, and formulate a plan of care and discuss plan with the attending. Write daily
progress notes, orders, admission notes. Supervise Family Practice residents and interns.
Communicate directly with consulting services, provided updates to team members and families
on the progress and plan of the neonate, coordinate discharge planning. The neonatal
population had varying disease processes.
At Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital in Loma Linda, CA:

Developed an in-service team that is devoted to providing educational in-services to night shift
in order to provide most current evidenced based practice.
Research Assistant – 2004 – 2006: Working with another staff nurse and OTR on developing a
nursing research proposal that looks at parent satisfaction, parent-infant attachment when
parents of pre-term infants are allowed to participate in infant-massage.
