Senior Engineer

Highlights of the Position:
The Senior Engineer will provide technical support for manufacturing departments in our facility
located in Reidsville, North Carolina
Role Summary/Purpose:
The Senior Engineer will work in a team oriented environment to improve efficiencies, reduce
scrap, improve quality, and safety.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Interacts with customers relative to design, improvement or quality issues.
Communicates with suppliers on products and process concerns.
Works closely with production associates to solve problems and continuously improve processes.
Investigates, suggests, and implements cost saving projects or value added engineered projects.
Troubleshoots machines and equipment.
Updates work instructions, FMEA’s, control plans and capability studies.
Assists with work cell layouts.
Leads cell teams in small group meetings to solicit feedback and generate ideas for improvement.
Skills and Abilities:
Successful candidate must be hand-on with equipment and machinery and be able to work with
production associates.
Minimum educational requirement is a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and the knowledge and skills
typically acquired through five-plus years’ experience in manufacturing engineering and automotive
manufacturing processes. Occasional travel is required. Mold tooling experience is preferred.
