March 30, 2015, Napa, CA – The Fifth Annual Napa Valley Arts in April has begun, when
the valley showcases its wealth of art and artists from American Canyon to Calistoga.
Featuring works that span artistic disciplines, genres and decades, Napa Valley Arts in April
2015 offers an artistic feast of exclusive events, openings and exhibits throughout the entire
month.
Week three, April 13 - 19, 2015 is focused on the towns of Rutherford and St. Helena,
offering more than a dozen events. Week three highlights are below and previous highlights

April 18 and 19 from 3 – 4:30 p.m.: Acclaimed singer-songwriter John Brazell will perform
his original acoustic/pop songs. John regularly plays with the folk-rock ensemble
“Branches,” a nationally touring act that has opened for Family of The Year and
MUTEMATH, to name a few. His song “City Girl” was recently featured on the TV show
“Reign.”
April 18 at 3 p.m.: Watch artist Joshua Nissen King paint his works, which will be showcased
through the month of April. The San Francisco based Joshua Nissen King, who has roots in
Napa, draws from childhood memories resulting in vivid painted landscapes.
April 19 at 2 p.m.: Dante Stewart’s artwork strikes a balance between the brightness of life,
and the serenity of the afterlife. Dante has been working at Flora Springs – The Room for
two years. Engaging and unassuming, he rarely speaks of his past or passion. After
witnessing his talents first-hand at The Room, Dante was recently commissioned to design

acclaimed artist Gordon Huether, who will talk about his continuous creative exploration
and his internal expression through his fine art. Though known primarily for his large-scale
work, Huether shares some of his internal monologue, or how his fine art comes to be.
Huether’s projects have included art installations for private corporations, airports,
transportation centers, parking garages, hotels, universities, hospitals, recreation centers,
civic buildings, libraries, and museums. He is proud to have been awarded 70 public art
