The committee would like to invite competitors, Judges, Stewards & helpers and anybody else involved
with the show for a thank you after the show.
Troon Show Committee Rules & Regulations

Any animal or competitor found by the Committee to be behaving inappropriately will be
asked to leave the showground immediately.
 Although the Committee will make every effort to avoid class clashes due to the number of
classes being held clashes may be unavoidable. In that event competitors will be
expected to choose which class they wish to enter. No refunds will be given but we will,
where possible, change entries to another class of your choice.
 All trophy-winners will be asked to pay a £10.00 refundable deposit on all trophies. No
trophy will be released without a £10.00 deposit being paid.
 Trophies won on 9th May 2015 must to be returned to the secretaries by 31st March 2016.
 The judges’ decision is final.
 Any complaint must be made
in writing to the Secretary, Miss C Pascoe accompanied by a
cheque for £50. Complaints will be investigated in full within 20 working days.
 All competitors will park where specified by the parking attendants on the day. Failure to
comply with the attendants’ instructions may result in disqualification from the show.
 Stallions may not be shown in hand by any junior who has not attained their 16 th birthday
before 1st January in the current year.
 Correct British Standard headgear conforming to PAS015 or EN1384 or ASTMF1163 or
current standards to be warn at all times when mounted with chinstraps fastened.
 All ridden ponies must be 4 years old and over.
 Any foals being shown must be a minimum of three weeks old on the day of the show.
 Unaccompanied Competitors must provide the Show Organiser a contact telephone number
in case of an emergency.
Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and dogs MUST be cleaned up after and
disposed of correctly
No ring will wait longer than 5 minutes for any competitor unless agreed previously
with the ring steward
Qualification:
South West Pony Association (SWPA)
Championships
This show is a qualifier for the South West Pony Association Championships to be held on
3rd/4th/5th/6th September 2015 at the David Broome Event Centre, Crick, Gwent.
To qualify for the Championships:
Enter one of the qualifying classes;
Be one of the two highest placed exhibits not already qualified within the first four and receive a
qualification card signed in the ring;
Complete the entry form on the qualfication card;
Equifest
Return the card together with any registration fees due within 14 days of this show.
Please note: Registration fees for 2015 are £25 to include all members of the family and equines
owned by the family.
The two highest placed exhibits not already qualified will qualify for the relevant Equifest
Championship to be held at the East of England Showground on the 12th – 16th August 2015
The Royal London Horse Show
1 , 2 & 3 placed horses/ponies in eligible classes will qualify for the Champion of Britain title classes
to be held at the Royal London show 2015. Each qualified horse/pony will receive a qualification card
in the ring which will enable the owner to enter the Royal London Show, provided the owner and
rider/handler are, or become registered with the International Showing Show within 28 days of the

Riders& IN HAND Championships - This show is a qualifier for the 2015 TSR Riders/In Hand Regional
Championships . Qualify and enter ANY of the Regional Finals Central, East Anglia, North West, North East,
South East, South, Wales & South West or Scottish. You Do Not have to be a TSR member to qualify or enter a
final. The Rider/Handler qualifies and can enter any horse/pony in any number of Finals!
TSR Riders Champs - 1st & 2nd riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring.
TSR In Hand Champs - The two highest placed Handlers with a TSR In Hand Card will qualify in any In Hand
class. Handlers MUST have their cards signed in the ring by the judge/steward, cards are available FREE from

To qualify for the 2015 National Supreme Showing Championship Show the first, second and third place
horse/pony in classes 1&2 will each qualify. To enter the National Supreme Showing Championship Show the
rider/handler and horse/pony must register with 15+ Horse and Pony events within 14 days of the qualifying

The finals will be held at the B.S.P.S. Summer Championship Show, Arena U.K., Grantham, Lincs on 26 6h –
29rd August, 2015. All competitors in the final will receive a Finalist ROSETTE. Placed Rosettes will be
awarded to 10th place in all classes. The 1st and 2nd prize winners of each class will compete for the:“B.S.P.S. BRIGHT STARS PERFORMANCE SUPREME CHAMPIONSHIP”

This show is affiliated to The Coloured Horse & Pony Society (UK).
Both owner and the rider/exhibitor need not be a member of CHAPS (UK) nor must the horse or pony be
registered with CHAPS(UK) to compete. However in order to Qualifyboth Owner and Rider/Exhibitor need to
be a current showing member and present their valid Qualifier card IN THE RING for signing by the judge.
Members to apply in writing to CHAPS (UK) for appropriate qualifier card.
The CHAPS (UK) Championship Show will be held on 7th-9th August 2015. Shows held on or after date
of Championship Show will count as 2016 qualifiers.

You can only compete in the Olympia Anthony Evans SSADL Second Round Qualifiers, if you are a
2015 member and your animal is registered with SSAD Ltd and hold the 2015
membership/registration card. Once you have qualified at a First Round Qualifier and you have
received an Acceptance card, only then may you compete in the Olympia Anthony Evans Second
Round Qualifiers. The Second Round Champions will go on to compete at the Olympia Anthony
Evans SSADL Supreme Final at the London International Horse Show in December 2015 .
NPS
Qualifiers are entitled to compete in the final of the Silver Medal Rosette Championship to be held at the NPS
Summer Championship Show 4th-6th August 2015.
NPS Silver Medal Rosette Championships: These classes are judged under the Rules of the NPS. NPS Silver
Medal Rosettes are only awarded when the owner of the champion pony is a Qualifying or Life member of the
NPS. A valid membership card must be in the rider’s/handler’s possession on entering the ring and be produced
immediately on request by either the judge or the steward. If the owner of the Champion pony is not a member,
or the owner’s membership card is not immediately produced, the rosette may be awarded to the Reserve
Champion provided they have the required membership card. If the Champion pony has previously qualified it
is still entitled to the Silver Medal Rosette but the qualification card goes to the Reserve Champion pony,
provided the owner of that pony is a member of the NPS. The Silver Medal Rosette and the qualification card
can be awarded no lower than first Reserve (third). Foals are not eligible for Silver Medal Championships.
