The Smithsonian offers internships, fellowships, and postdoctoral fellowships in areas ranging from art
to astrophysics and from museum studies to marine science. The application deadlines vary, but many
are in early spring. Therefore, this is a good time to investigate some of the possibilities through the
Smithsonian. Most opportunities are open to international students.
