After studying Systematic Musicology and Communication Science (Hanover University of
Music and Drama, Germany, M.A. 2006), Hauke Egermann graduated at the Center of Systems
Neurosciences Hannover (PhD, 2009). From 2009 to 2011 he joined the Music Perception and
Cognition Laboratory, McGill University as Postdoctoral Research Fellow. Since 2011 he is
Research Associate and Lecturer in the Audio Communication Group, Technische Universität
Berlin. His research interests are music perception and cognition.
