Ocean CC Winter Sport All Americans – Released April 2012
NJCAA Division III Basketball - Ocean County College has had the distinct pleasure of having two of the NJCAA
Division III Basketball First Team All American selections on their squads this year. Both JaMario Clayton and
Elizabeth Lawler were selected Region XIX Player of the Year for 2011-2012 and each earned their 1000 career
point this season while playing as a Viking for two seasons and to add to their recognition they have just been
selected First Team NJCAA Basketball All Americans. JaMario Clayton is a 2nd year selection as an All American for
NJCAA and over his time at OCC has played in 51 games, earned 1165 points has 123 steals and averages 22.8
points per game. Elizabeth Lawler is a 2 sport athlete for OCC this year playing Soccer and Basketball earning
National honors in both sports this year. Elizabeth’s totals in basketball for her career at OCC are that she
competed in 52 games, scored 1010 points had 901 rebounds and averaged 19.42 points per game.
Congratulations again to both JaMario Clayton and Elizabeth Lawler for the success as student athletes.
