We are excited that you are interested in being a part of Union Public Schools Community
Education Program. We look forward to receiving your class proposal(s). If you have
questions or need help with writing a class proposal, please call
the Community Education office at 918-357-6027.
Community Ed Class Proposal for Union Certified Employees
Please complete all items on this application. Use a separate application for each class you propose
to teach. Please note:
 All classes are scheduled at the discretion of the Community Education office.
 A submitted proposal is NOT an approved class. We will contact you only if we plan to schedule your
proposed class.
 If your proposal is selected, you will be contacted to finalize arrangements and complete the necessary
paperwork. If you are not an employee of Union Public Schools, a criminal background check will also
be required.
 You do not need to resubmit a proposal for the same class each session - all proposals will be kept on
file.
 Classes will be scheduled one season ahead (ex. if it is currently Spring, we are scheduling for Fall),
according to the following deadlines:
Fall submissions - due July 14
Winter/Spring submissions - due November 3
Summer submissions - due March 2

Proposed Class Information
Class Title:
Course fee - $40 – 1 hour weekly – 4 weeks
$80 – 1 hour weekly – 8 weeks
Teacher stipends:
$ 240 for a 4 week class
$360 for a 6 week class
$480 for an 8 week class

If needed, a class activity fee can be added to the class fee. Prior approval by the Director of Community
Education is required.
