To celebrate the opening in NYC, we're gathering at
Peter Max's Art Studio on December 6th across the
street from the Lincoln Center. You'll find us at 37 West
65th St., New York City, NY. Join us at the glorious art
studio of iconic artist Peter Max from 6:30PM 8:30PM for a Pre- Opening Reception in celebration of
the NYC Premiere of SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES.
Enjoy hors d' oeuvres and deserts generously donated

providing delicious, healthy, environmentally conscious
and cruelty free cuisine. Meet and mingle with cast and

As part of this special event, international award winning filmmaker, Katia Louise will present a sneak preview
from her inspiring and powerful film, SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES: A NATION BETRAYED. The film's

Peter Max graciously donates his talent and artwork to help save horses from cruelty. When a New
York carriage horse was rescued from slaughter by Equine Advocates, Peter Max immortalized Bobby
II Freedom with a painting which was auctioned off for charity and the image of
Bobby II Freedom was generously donated to Wild for Life Foundation to help
bring more attention and support to this important documentary film project.
The image of Bobby II Freedom is featured in the movie, SAVING
AMERICA'S HORSES: A NATION BETRAYED.
Peter Max is one of the most famous living artists. His bold colors, uplifting
images and uncommon artistic diversity have touched almost every phase of
American culture and have inspired many generations.
Katia Louise
Director/ Producer /Writer
Katia Louise is an international award winning filmmaker and lifelong
horsewoman. She grew up in the entertainment industry and combines her skills
working both in front of and behind the camera. Her most recognized film and
television appearances include TAKE with Minnie Driver and HUFF with Hank
Azaria. She is president of Innovative Media Arts/ IMA Films, a boutique
production company best known for its award winning work on wildlife
conservation documentaries. She is an inspirational speaker and a highly
regarded champion for the safety and welfare of equines. Katia founded the Wild
for Life Foundation (WFLF), a 501c3 nonprofit charity dedicated to protecting,
saving and preserving equines through rescue, sanctuary and education. Katia
continues her work under WFLF to widen the audience for Saving America’s
Horses, in effort that this important resource can fully effect social change.
