Attached please find the registration form for the 2015 wine ride. If you are registering/enclosing
payment for multiple participants please attach a list of names for our records. Each participant must sign
a liability release prior to the October 3rd ride. Forms must be signed prior to your participation.
We request no dogs on the trail for safety reasons. If you are traveling with your canine companion
please make arrangements for their care if you are on the trail with your horse.
We have an excellent road crew. Those of you wishing to participate horseless are welcome to
follow/join the road crew. They provide safety for the horses while crossing roads and meet us at each
winery, providing snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.
The number of horses on the trail is limited for safety of the group, in addition, we have limited parking
space for rigs at the host winery. Most of the parking will be in the orchards for large rigs. Some
participants have pre-registered from last year, leaving limited space for the number of horses on the trail.
Please register soon.
If you would like to spend the night, either arriving early on Friday or stay over on Saturday, we
recommend Hart Ranch as they have accommodations for your horse and/or RV. Please make your
arrangements direct with Sue Hart. Sue needs your requests in advance in order to accommodate you.

Directions to Winery: From Yakima traveling East bound on I-82, Take Exit 52 toward Zillah, Turn left
onto the Zillah/Toppenish Road (.4), and turn left at Cheyne Road (2.1 mi). Turn right into driveway of
Two Mountain Winery, 2151 Cheyne Road
From West Bound on I-82, Take exit 54 toward Zillah, turn right onto Yakima Valley Hwy (2.7 mi), turn
right onto Cheyne Road (1.3 mi), turn right into the driveway of Two Mountain Winery, 2151 Cheyne
Road
From Winery to Hart Stables (27 miles). Head south on Cheyne Road (2.1 mi), turn right at
Toppenish/Zillah Road (.3), turn right to merge onto I-82 west bound (22.7 mi), take exit 29 for E. Selah
Road, turn right onto E. Selah Road, turn right at Ray Symmonds Road.

The fee of $20.00 includes wine tour, snacks, water & soda available at each winery and the BBQ after
the ride. Bring a salad or dessert to share. Please bring your own water bucket for your horse and chairs
to use during the BBQ/Bonfire. Please be aware several wineries charge a tasting fee which is waved if
purchasing wine. You may choose not to taste at those wineries if desired.

AHCCW ASSUMPTION OF RISK, RELEASE AND IDEMNIFICATION
Under Washington State Law RCW 4.24.540 “an equine activity sponsor or an equine professional is not
liable for an injury to, or the death of, a participant engaged in an equine activity.
In consideration for AHCCW permitting me to participate in the event, and by signing the
registration form, I agree as follows: I agree that I choose to participate voluntarily in this event, as a
rider, handler, lessee, owner, and youth or as a parent or guardian. I AM FULLY AWARE AND
ACKNOWLEDGE THAT HORSE SPORTS AND EVENTS, INVOLVE SERIOUS RISK OF HARM
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, RISKS OF ACCIDENT, SERIOUS BODILY INJURY,
INCLUDING DEATH, BROKEN BONES, HEAD INJURIIES, TRAUMA, PAIN AND SUFFERING,
AND PROPERTY DAMAGE. I ASSUME ALL RISKS OF HARM TO ME, MY HORSE OR MY
PROPERTY.
I AGREE for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns to release
AHCCW, The event, the Winery Owners, the Farm Land Owners, and all of their respective officers,
officials, directors, employees, agents, personnel, volunteers, affiliated Organizations and insurers
(collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims for damage, loss, or injury to myself, other
persons, horses or other property belonging to me to the fullest extent permitted by the law that arises out
of or relates in any way to the Event and my participants in the Event INCLUDING, BUT NOT
LIMITED TO, DAMAGE, LOSS, OR INJURY RESULTING FROM ANY ACTS, FAILURE TO ACT,
NEGLIGENCE OR NEGLECT OF OTHER ENTRANTS, THE RELEASED PARTIES, THEIR
CONTRACTORS OR INVITEES, as well as for the theft, vandalism, fire, other casualty damage, or
damage arising out of any defects in the premises.
By signing below as a parent or guardian of a junior participant, I consent to the child’s
participation and agree to all the above provisions, and further agree to assume all the obligations of the
AHCCW Assumption of Risk, Release and Indemnification personally and on the behalf of the child.
