Pennies for Our Principal ~

The Penny War competition was a fabulous success! The total collected was $866.04,
with Mrs. Day's 3rd grade class winning the war! 2nd place was Mr. O'Brien's 5th grade
class, 3rd place was Mrs. Pett's 2nd grade class, 4th place was Mrs. Gupton's 5th grade
class, and finally, 5th place was Mrs. Polka's kindergarten class. Way to go Pandas!
Parent Math Night ~

Please join us for an informational (parents only) MATH NIGHT at Ponderosa on
Tuesday, January 27th from 6:00-7:00 p.m. We will share information about our Math
Expressions curriculum, Common core Math Standards, standards based scoring, and
how you can help your student with math at home.
Tires and Tennies Tuesdays ~

Every Tuesday is Tires and Tennies. We encourage students to choose a healthy and
environmentally friendly way to come to school. Show your school spirit and support for
this great program by wearing something from your favorite sports team!
