Southcoast Health System honors employees for years of service
NEW BEDFORD, Mass. — Southcoast™ Health System recently honored employees
who have reached significant milestone years of service across the health system including its
three hospitals — Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford,
and Tobey Hospital in Wareham.
“Southcoast has a long tradition of recognizing and congratulating our employees for
their long-standing commitment to providing quality care and services,” Keith A. Hovan,
President & CEO of Southcoast Health System and Southcoast Hospitals Group. “Almost 1,000
Southcoast employees are celebrating milestone anniversaries this year. That’s what makes going
to a Southcoast hospital, physician or outpatient facility so special – the sense of neighborliness
and family that accompanies great care and decades of experience. It is the combination of these
qualities that makes Southcoast the workplace of choice. Thank you to all of our Southcoast
employees for all you do for our patients – and each other – every day.”
Southcoast Health System’s employees are recognized at five – year intervals for years of
continuous service based on their date of hire. This year Southcoast celebrated 989 employees
with anniversaries beginning at five years and going up to 50 years.
