Belarusian Innovation Fund
Description
The Belarusian Innovation Fund was founded in 1998, with the aim of strengthening governmental
support for innovative activities in Belarus. The Belarusian Innovation Fund is a non-commercial
organization, affiliated with State Committee for Science and Technologies of the Republic of
Belarus.
Main tasks:
- Create/uphold favorable conditions for the development of innovative entrepreneurship
- Financial assistance to innovative projects
- Supporting venture projects

Republican Center for Technology Transfer
Description
The Republican Center for Technology Transfer (RCTT) was founded in May 2003 under the auspices of the State Committee for Science and Technologies of the Republic of Belarus, the National
Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the
United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
RCTT’s primary goal is to promote the cooperation between high-tech developers, entrepreneurs
and investors.
Main tasks of the RCTT:
- Forming and maintaining information databases meant for serving clients in the technology
transfer sector;
- Providing RCTT's clients with access to the UNIDO network and other international databases
dedicated to technology transfer, research and development;
- Assisting innovation activity agents in development and promotion of their innovation and
investment projects;
- Instructing and training specialists in research- and innovation-related entrepreneurship;
- Establishing RCTT's regional innovation offices in the country, with the aim to create a unified
national network of technology transfer centres;
- Assisting and promoting international research and development cooperation and exchange
of specialists.

Business Incubator Koldischi
Description
Since 1998 the joint stock company “MAP JSC” has been functioning as a business incubator aiming to support business initiatives of young scientists and entrepreneurs. The “MAP JSC” is situated in the suburbs of Minsk (2 km) - Kolodischi. The total square of rented out incubator’s premises
is 3400 m2.
Key clients of the “MAP JSC” are potential entrepreneurs or existing micro and small enterprises at
the beginning of their business activity. Upon approval a new tenant is provided with an office,
office services and consulting services. The Temporary Working Group of the company supports
tenants in implementing their business ideas (including financial support) during the incubation
period.
Tenants of the business incubator “MAP JSC” benefit from the thematic seminars which are organized by the incubator: principles of entrepreneurship, financing of business activities, taxation,
standardization and certification, licensing and other topics upon the tenants` needs. The business incubator “MAP JSC” fostered 90 enterprises, the majority of which operates successfully.

High Tech Park Belarus
Description
In 2005 the Hi-Tech Park Belarus was established with the main goal of supporting the software
industry in Belarus. HTP Belarus provides a special business environment for IT businesses. Any
company operating in the sphere of computer-based technologies can apply for residency within
the HTP and benefit from tax-incentives and other advantages provided.
Currently 109 companies are registered as the Park's residents. The resident companies are successful on North American and European hi-tech markets and have customers in more than 55
countries around the globe.

Science Parks and Innovation Center Experts (SPICE) – Group
Description
The Science Park and Innovation Center Experts Group (SPICE) is a global network representing 41
countries, including 27 national and international associations of innovation centers. Members of
SPICE Group are experts in business incubation, innovation centers, technology parks, regional
economic development, technology transfer and entrepreneurship. SPICE Members represent
different professional and organizational backgrounds and combine information, experience and
skills from many different areas.

Lithuanian Innovation Center
Description
The Lithuanian Innovation Centre (LIC), founded in 1996, is a non-profit organisation, providing
