1. What is the equation for angular momentum?
2. What is the angular momentum of a solid cylinder with radius of 2m and mass of 20kg
rotating at 10 rad/s?
3. What is the angular momentum about a point of an object, with mass of 1000kg, traveling
west at 10m/s on a road 200m north of the point?
4. A uniform stick of mass 2kg and length 1m is pivoted at the center. A bullet of mass 10g
is shot through the stick at a point halfway between the pivot and the end with a
trajectory that is perpendicular to the stick. The initial speed of the bullet is 300m/s and
its final speed is 100m/s. What is the angular speed ω of the stick after the collision?
5. Repeat the above problem but now the bullet sticks in the stick instead of going through.
