Australian Citizenship recipients
Moorabool Shire Council Mayor Cr Pat Toohey will host a Citizenship Ceremony which will
see 25 Moorabool residents proudly receive official Australian Citizenship.
New Australian citizens demonstrate understanding and acceptance of Australian values
and dedication and commitment to Australia by becoming official citizens at ceremonies
throughout the country.
Moorabool’s new citizens have travelled from countries across the globe including India,
Phillipines, United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Sri Lanka, Portugal, USA, Vietnam and
Chile to officially make Australia their new home.
Council will present all new citizens with a welcome gift comprising a certificate and a
native tree.
Local band Chime will provide entertainment for the evening.
