Introduction

The UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS) wishes to create a new public web site using a renovated look and a more alluring interface. The platform selected is

Microsoft Office SharePoint 2007. The website will be using AlphaMosaik's multilingual module as well as several custom components to deliver a rich experience to all future users of their site.

1.2.

Analysis

Content within the site, such as publications and certain pages, will optionally be tagged using geographic metadata. The metadata required to tag this content should be presented to the content editor using a hierarchical metadata system.

The geographic information presents itself as a set of 3 fields:

1Geographic Scope

2Geographic Region

3Country

Each field should be dependent on the previous value selected such that a user can gradually specify scopes. The following dependency should be implemented:

Column Values Behavior

Appendices

On met en annexe tout ce qui est utile à la compréhension du document ou qui fait partie des résultats de L’analyse, mais qui n'a pas sa place dans le corps même du rapport, parce que cela alourdirait la lecture et détournerait l'attention du fil conducteur.
