Vision: Work Together: Achieve Together: Strive for the Highest
Attendance and Participation
The Bluff Point Primary School students accept
that it is their responsibility to:
1. Strive to do their best to reach their
potential.
2. Attend School everyday.
3. Learn, listen and participate, including in, out of
school hours activities.
4. Be Safe, Be Responsible, Be Respectful
The Bluff Point Primary School Parents/Carers
accept that it is their responsibility to:
1. Communicating with their children and School staff.
2. Support their child through;
 Ensuring their child is ready and on time for
school.
 Ensuring daily attendance.
 Talking to their child about school and
showing an interest.
 Completing homework together.
 Making their child feel good about School.
3. Commit to participate in the School.
4. Acknowledge and follow school rules and policies.
The Bluff Point Primary School Staff accept
that it is their responsibility to:
1. Communicate positively with parents/carers
and students and celebrate successes.
2. Engage parents/carers through an open door
policy.
3. Provide a safe supportive environment
demonstrating understanding and empathy.
The Bluff Point Primary School Parents/Carers
accept that it is their responsibility to:
1. Take an active role in their child’s education.
2. Support the implementation of the school curriculum.
3. Foster positive relationships with the School.
4. Actively communicate with School Staff.
The Bluff Point Primary School Staff accept
that it is their responsibility to:
1. Provide parent/carers and students with
opportunities to engage actively.
2. Provide regular formal and informal feedback
on student progress.
3. Support students to achieve literacy and
numeracy outcomes at their ability level.
The Bluff Point Primary School Parents/Carers
accepts that it is their responsibility to:
1. Respect and tolerate the diverse cultural heritage of
the school.
2. Share their cultural knowledge within the school.
The Bluff Point Primary School Staff accepts
that it is their responsibility to:
1. Engage parents/carers in cultural heritage
opportunities within the school.
2. Engage parents/carers in cultural heritage
opportunities within the school/class.
3. Incorporate cultural perspective across the
curriculum.
4. Continually strive to develop increased
cultural awareness.
5. Participate in cross cultural awareness
professional learning.
Academic/Learning Achievement
The Bluff Point Primary School students accept
that it is their responsibility to:
1. Aim to reach their potential/Strive for their personal
best.

Culture and Curriculum
The Bluff Point Primary School students accepts
that it is their responsibility to:
1. Always show respect and tolerance of the diverse
cultural heritage of the school.
2. Express pride in their own cultural heritage.
We agree that this agreement will remain in place if we have a new principal and that we will regularly reaffirm our commitment to the agreement
and review the agreement when our needs and circumstances change.
