How to start submitting cases electronically
Scan all your new business paperwork. Then email it to the
underwriting e-mail addresses listed below.
New Jersey brokers should send their electronic submissions to
CranSGNBSubmissions@aetna.com. Pennsylvania brokers can
send their electronic submissions to
Midatlanticsmallgroupnewbusiness@aetna.com.
New census report saves you time



Saving us time helps to save you time. The new “Aetna
Census Report” available in Healthconnect (see sample)
eliminates the need for us to re-key the census into our
system by reformatting the census into a file we easily can
upload into our system.
Just include the new census report with your electronic
new business submission.
We simply upload your census. We don’t have to re-key it
which speeds up the process.
How to create the new census report



Create your new business quote as usual in Healthconnect.
Continue on the Proposal Generation screen.
A new Excel report option, “Aetna Census Report,” will now
appear at the bottom of the Proposal Generation-Select
Reports screen under “Supplemental Reports.” It will be
defaulted to a selected status.
Select the additional proposal reports you wish to include

ad hit the “Next” button.
The new Aetna Census Report will appear as a separate
hyperlink under the rate and benefit proposal. Include the
Aetna Census Report with your new business electronic
submission. It’s that simple.
