MONDAY
 Humpty dumpty had a great fall- give each child a picture of an egg to decorate any way
they would like, once they finish let them rip the egg into tiny pieces, keep the pieces
after they rip them because we will use them for a later project.
 Put Humpty together again- I will bring in a large poster board cut out of an egg the
children will paint it with a mix of yellow paint and glue once they are done painting they
can glue the pieces of the paper egg from the morning activity onto the larger egg cutout.
 Number 7-everyday each child will get 7 items that they can use to decorate a large
number 7 any way they would like-Marshmallows
 Egg search- put several plastic eggs into the water table fill the table with sudsy water
and let the children search for the eggs under the bubbles
TUESDAY
 Old mother Hubbard-decorate old mother Hubbard with any combination of items that
you have in the class room
 Get the dog a bone- paint the dog with dog bones
 Number 7-everyday each child will get 7 items that they can use to decorate a number 7
any way they would like-pom poms
 Mud bones- burry dog bones in the sand and water table (mix sand and water together)
WEDNESDAY
 So many children-sponge paint with sponges cut into the shape of children
 Shoe house- decorate a boot house with brown felt
 Number 7-everyday each child will get 7 items that they can use to decorate a number 7
any way they would like-fish
 Shoe prints- let the children paint on a large piece of paper with shoes(outside)
THURSDAY
 Mouse glasses- cut out glasses using poster board (so they are sturdy) let the kids
decorate them
 3 blind mice- use paper plates to make a mask that looks like a mouse
 Number 7-everyday each child will get 7 items that they can use to decorate a number 7
any way they would like-circles
 Pour and play(sand)-play with sand in the sand and water table
FRIDAY
 Finger spiders- let the kids paint their hands and make spider prints
 2 litter spider-I will bring in the spider already assembled and the children will decorate it
 Number 7-everyday each child will get 7 items that they can use to decorate a number 7
any way they would like-shoes
 Wash the spider out- cover the table(or wall) with foil place several dots of paint on the
wrap(these are the spiders) give the children spray bottles and let them spray the spiders
off the plastic wrap or foil.

There was an old woman who lived in a shoe,
She had so many children she didn't know what to do!
So she gave them some broth without any bread,
And she hugged them and kissed them and sent them to bed!

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the King's horses, And all the King's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again!

The itsy bitsy spider
Itsy Bitsy spider climbing up the spout
Down came the rain and washed the spider out
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain
Now Itsy Bitsy spider went up the spout again!
