Request for Research Grant from the Program in Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies
Ours is a small interdisciplinary program with very limited discretionary funds. The Program is positioned to offer limited
support for undergraduate students’ academic and professional development. Priority is given to FGSS Majors, followed by
FGSS Honors students, and finally FGSS Minors.
Priority is given to support research-based expenses such as data analysis software, books and other research materials, and
travel required for data-gathering purposes. Second priority is given to expenses related to conference participation such as
transportation, lodging, and, conference fees, etc. Preference will be given to those who are making presentations at
conferences.

List each aspect of the project that requires funding (travel, materials, etc.) and amounts.
List the total amount of funding you are requesting.

List other sources of funding and amounts that have been awarded to you.
List the name of your major advisor and your FGSS advisor.
