2015 Northbridge Estates Beautification Rules and Judging Criteria
Volume 1
Issue 1
The Beautification Committee will judge, determine, and select the “Yards of the Month” on the first Monday of each
month, starting with the month of May. Only the front yards, as viewed from the streets, will be judged. Backyards
will
not be considered, even if visible from the streets. Beautification Committee signs will be placed in the winning
yards
on the day of judging and are to remain until the next judging day. Residents may move signs to any area of
their yard
that is visible from the street. All Judges’ decisions are final.

BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE NEWS
The 2015 Northbridge Estates Beautification Committee is very excited about
the challenge of helping to make and keep our community safe, beautiful and
second to none. It is our hope that this will be the start of all of our neighbors
vying for that beautiful and coveted sign in your yard which says that you take as
much pride in the community as we do. Now that the grass is brown and the
plants are dormant, this is a great time to start planning what you would like for
your yard to look like in the spring. Last year presented some awesome yards to
be judged. Let’s keep up the good work. If you need any help, please do not
hesitate to ask for suggestions.

We would like to thank the retiring members, Shirley Lacey, Gwen Strong, and
Joanne Vaca, for services rendered during their tenure. We welcome your 2015
Beautification Team. They are Janel Leonard, Kim Kee, Geneva Johnson, and
Emma Smith. Plans are already in progress with suggestions and ideas that will
enhance and help our community be all that it can be. There are plans for
engaging our youth to help with keeping our community beautiful. There will
be more about this in the near future. We also will have a day when our
neighbors can come to the pool and get ideas and learn more about plants and
keeping our yards beautiful. We look forward to an awesome year.
You can have this beautiful sign placed
in your yard. Now is the time to start
planning for your spring planting. For
information on tips for a healthy and
beautiful lawn, go to: scotts.com or
speak to your Beautification members.
