Position Overview
A small, venture-backed start-up with ambitious goals is looking for a chemist
who has experience in the lab and a solid understanding of organic and
analytical chemistry. Person must be interested in developing new products and
processes within the field of renewable/sustainable chemistry, and must desire to
learn and grow within the company.
Principal Accountabilities





Carry out lab experiments to prepare derivatives and to assist process
optimization
Prepare and analyze samples on GC, HPLC, and NMR
Maintain lab equipment and oversee lab hygiene
Prepare written reports and contribute at group meetings
Maintain meticulous notebook
Qualifications




Minimum Bachelors in chemistry or related field
2+ years experience doing lab research
Experience with analytical instruments such as GC and HPLC
Willingness to re-locate in North America
