Mr. Asiimwe Allan is a hydrogeologist with relevant experience in geophysical investigations, drilling
supervision, test pumping supervision, casting and installation of boreholes, supervision of hydrofracturing, water treatment, sewage treatment, distribution network/supply systems of water and building
construction.
Mr. Allan is conversant with different types of software to analyze geophysical and hydrogeological

HYdrogeologist; KLR (U) Ltd a contracting drilling company based in Uganda Kampala
Hydrogeologist, Institute For International Cooperation And Development,
Kampala Uganda. (NGO) an Italian Non govemental organization, I was responsible
for Hydrogelogical surveys, drilling supervision, Aquifer testing and Analysis and
installation of pumps. The fallowing projects were done.
Carried out the geophysical investigation of 20 boreholes in Moroto District ( Client
Moroto Local government)
Carried out geophysical investigation of 10 boreholes in Napak District.( Client: Napak
Local government)
Carried out geophysical survey of 12 boreholes in Districts of Abim, Kotido, Kaabong
and Kitgum ( Client: Mercy corps)
Carried out geophysical investigation of 7 boreholes in the District of Amolu. ( Client:
World Vision )
Carried out the geophysical investigation, drilling supervision of 15 wells drilled under
the funding of GIZ.
Presently overseeing drilling 20 wells with Karamoja sub region. The works includes
geophysical survey, drilling supervision and installation of 20 boreholes with hand
pumps. ( Client;Unicef)
Carried out geophysical and hydro geological investigation of 70 boreholes with in the
seven districts of Karamoja Sub region. This was aimed at increasing access to safe
water points to rural communities, Health Centre and Primary Schools
(Client: UNICEF).
Carried out the Geophysical surveys for 18 boreholes in the District of Moroto, in which
funding was by Italian Government through the Institute for Cooperation and
Development, C&D)
Carried out the Geophysical survey for 6 boreholes in Kapedo Kaabong District (Client
MANOS in Collaboration with Kapedo Catholic Mission).
Carried out the Geophysical surveys for 5 boreholes in Iriiri Sub County Moroto District
(Client: GTZ).
Carried out the Geophysical surveys for 7 boreholes in Lorengedwat and Lotome Sub
Counties Nakapirpirit and Moroto District respectively (Client: Welt hunger hilfe).
Carried out hydrological and geophysical survey for 3 boreholes in Nabwal Iriiri Moroto
District (Client: Clide Consultancy).

Took part in the identification and construction of a Sub surface dam in Lotome Napak
District. This was done in pattern ship with ASAL Consultants of P.O box 739,Sarit
Nairobi, Kenya. The project was funded by the office of the Prime minister Uganda
( OPM)
Technical Manager, KLR UGANDA LTD. In which I was responsible in giving technical
guidance and back up to the field team, Contracts robbing, preparing Bidding
Documents, Bill of Quantities and proper analysis of field data for both Drilling and Test
pumping and doing the cost analysis of the project.
WE Consult, Kampala, Uganda. Involved in the following projects:
Managed and supervised drilling, test pumping, casting and hand pump installation of
187 bore holes in Rwanda, on behalf of the Rwandan Government. The contracted
drilling companies were Saba engineering, China Geo-engineering corporation and
Drillicon. Client: PDRCIU, Funding: IFAD and OPEC.
Supervised and managed rehabilitation of 10 boreholes in Lira District. This included
Borehole assessment, flushing, pumping test, casting and borehole installation. (Client:
IRC)
Pimping test and data analysis of one hand pump borehole in Mubende District (Client:
Sumadhura Technologies)

KUMI HOSPITAL WATER SUPPLY AND SANNITATION PROJECT
Site supervisor to complete works on construction of the water supply for Kumi
Hospital. Project structure; 8 km pipeline, 6 boreholes equipped with handpumps,
rehabilitation of storage tanks and distribution network, installation of a pressure sand
filter, construction of latrines, toilets, bathing shelters and sensitization of communities.
