Power Point project requirements:
A. Students will select one of the following three: 1. Famous person 2. Sport 3. Event/holiday
B. Students will prepare a power point on the selected topic. Following are the basic guidelines.
1. First slide: Introductory slide :
- name of topic
- student’s name
2. Middle slides (3-4 slides) should contain the following:

Sport
-3 facts
-3 rules or purpose of game
- why famous
-1 famous person that does this game
- vitals
- where from
- info of choice
- origin / history of sport
-where game is popular or played
-information of choice
Event/holiday
-3 characteristics of event
- famous people associated with this
holiday.
- origin / history of holiday
- where celebrated
- information of choice
3. Summary slide –
- should include the most important fact or the most interesting thing about your topic.
- why you chose to do a presentation on this topic.
C. Other Requirements:

D. Check the rubric for grading of style and text.
1. Make sure slides are balanced (text and pictures are balanced – not on only one side of slides).
2. Organized, flows together nicely so audience can easily follow your presentation.
3. Text is not in whole paragraphs. Use bullets or text boxes. Remember power points are an outline
of your presentation – you should still tell a story in addition to your slides.
