Curriculum Overview for Year ¾ Autumn Term 2015 Owls and Squirrels

During this term we will look at
a number of English skills linked
to fiction and non-fiction texts.
The children will read, analyse
and explore these texts before
using them as a stimulus for
their own writing. Throughout
the term the children will cover
a range of speaking and
listening, spelling, grammar and
punctuation skills.
Art & Design
The children will be encouraged to develop
ideas from starting points throughout the
curriculum. They will collect information,
sketches and resources. They will adapt and
refine ideas as they progress. The children will
comment on artworks using visual language. Our
focus will be on portraiture and cave paintings.
