A prayer idea…
The beginning of the year is a good time to re-commit every area of our lives to God. We
could start with our homes: take time to move slowly from room to room, praying in each
place for all that happens there, and for those who use that area.
You could do the same in your local area, praying for your neighbours and also for the shops
and businesses you visit.
And if you go out to work, you could, over a period of time, gradually pray round the different
areas of your workplace and for the people there.
In all these places, and in and through our lives, let’s pray, ‘Your kingdom come’.
