Interpreting them will surely do
To see unfamiliar places, I want to go.
Ask: What is the poem about?
Where does the child want to go?
Is it easy to go these places? Why?
What will help him in going to these unfamiliar
places? (a map)
How can a map help him? (by interpreting and
following signs and symbols in the map)

Group the pupils into 4.
Distribute envelop with cut-outs(buildings,signs and
symbols of the school)
Instruction: Form a map by pasting the cut-outs on the
