*** Effective July 1, 2013, the Coloradoʼs Electronic
Recycling Jobs Acts prohibits Colorado residents from
disposing of electronic waste in their trash. This new law
makes it illegal for Colorado residents and residential waste
haulers to trash electronics.
Under this law, the City can no longer accept the following
items in your trash: Television sets, Computer monitors, central
processing units (CPUs) and peripherals, Printers, Fax
machines, Laptops, Notebooks, Electronic tablets, DVD
players, VCRs, Radios, Stereos, Video game consoles, Video
display devices with viewing screens greater than 4 inches
diagonally.
How to Recycle Your Old Electronics:
Take it back. Check the manufacturerʼs website for take-back
programs that will accept your old electronics. You may be
surprised how many offer easy and convenient services. Also,
use retail services such as Best Buy or Staplesʼ recycling
programs.
Recycle it. The City of Denver offers two convenient ways for
you to recycle your electronics.
· E-Cycle Coupon. The E-cycle coupon allows Denver residents
to drop off their televisions, monitors and other electronic items
at Metech Recycling at a significantly discounted rate. To
request an E-cycle coupon go to www.DenverGov.org/ecycle.
· Seasonal Eco-Rally Events. Denver Recycles periodically
hosts drop-off recycling events for Denver residents.

SOD: Sod is being installed in multiple areas on the property! Please keep of these new areas of lawn so they can
establish a root system and take-hold. Please keep pets and children from these areas as well.
Near-future projects: Sod projects will continue unless the temperatures are too high to continue Scheduling bids
for some projects related to the new drainage issues from the addition of front gutters and downspouts. Cleaning
carports and striping over the summer. Our biggest priority right now is to continue the “green” projects while temps
are cool enough.
PETS – Please pick-up after your pets. Canyon Club has placed pet-waste disposal bags in areas around the property
– please use these bags to clean-up after your pet. Cats are pets too and should not be left to roam the property! The
City and County of Denver enforces LEASH LAWS and so do we. WILDLIFE – DO NOT FEED THE
WILDLIFE this attracts other animals and is unhealthy.
Please respect the property and DO NOT LITTER!
Enjoy your Summer!
