2012-2013 Cardinal Battalion Staff designated

Wayne County JROTC
The Wayne County Cardinal Battalion Staff has been designated for the 2012-2013
school year. The Battalion Staff will lead the 112 member cadet Battalion who participate in the
award winning Wayne County JROTC program which is in its twentieth year.
The Battalion Commander is Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Garrett Bradley, the son of Dirk
and Louis Bradley. Garrett has been on the Wayne County JROTC Drill Team for the past four
years. With a 3.5 GPA Garrett’s future plans are to attend college and be a fish hatchery
biologist.
The Battalion Executive Officer is Cadet Major Josh Dishman, the son of Ronnie
Dishman. Josh has been on the Raider Team for the past four years and maintains a 3.77 GPA.
Josh’s future plans are to go to college and major in law enforcement. He hopes to become a
state trooper.
The Command Sergeant Major is Cadet Robert Lowe, the son of Rob and Carla Jackson.
Robert has been on the Drill Team and Raider Team for three years. With a 3.6 GPA, he aspires
to become the future battalion commander and plans to join the Army after school, attend
airborne training and ranger school.
Battalion S1 is Cadet 2LT Alyssa Magat. She is the daughter of Leonardo Magat Jr. and
Fatima Eastham. Alyssa has been on the Drill Team for one year. With a 3.8 GPA she plans to
go to college and become a computer engineer or a meteorologist.
Battalion S2 Cadet 2LT Vincent Magat, also the son of Leonardo Magat Jr. and Fatima
Eastman. Vincent has been on the Raider team for three years and the Drill Team for one year.
He has a 3.6 GPA and his future plans are to go to college and enroll in the ROTC program or
join the Army as soon as he graduates.
Battalion S3 is Cadet Major James Troxell, the son of the James R. Troxell and Katrina
Troxell. He has been on the Raider team for four years; with a 3.8 GPA his future plans are to
attend EKU or the Citadel in Charleston, SC. and then go to the Army.
The Battalion S4 is Cadet 2LT Landry Woods, the son of Rodney and Cynthia Woods.
With a 4.0 GPA he plans to go to college, he does not know what he wants to do after college
currently.
Battalion S5 Cadet 2LT Ebony Branaham is the daughter of Claude Branaham Jr. and
Angela Branham. She has been on the Drill Team for three years and the Color Guard Team for
one year. With a 2.8 GPA she plans to join the Air Force, complete her enlistment, then attend
the University Of Alabama and major in the medical field.
The A Company Commander Cadet Captain Brian Goodman is the son of Mitchell and
Koren Goodman. With a 3.2 GPA he plans to join the Marine Corps and then go to college
afterwards.
B Company Commander Cadet Captain Emily Sullivan is the daughter of Hank and
Pamela Sullivan. Emily has been on the Color Guard Team for four years. With a 2.5 GPA, upon graduation she plans to go to college and become a nurse.
