PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE SUMMARY
 Ten years experience in environmental consulting working as an Environmental Chemist, Data
Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, and Laboratory Coordinator supporting a wide variety of
environmental investigations regulated by the EPA and/or state regulatory agencies.
 Six and a half years experience in environmental laboratories working with increasing levels of
responsibility in the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) departments of U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) accredited laboratories using the principles of Good Laboratory Practices
(GLP) with a focus on continuous improvement.
 Over two years experience supporting a successful phase III clinical trial for an innovative prostate
cancer therapy as a Quality Assurance Associate for a biotechnology company regulated by the U.S.
Food and Drug Administration (FDA) using the principles of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

agencies, and third-party subcontractors to develop project data quality objectives for field and
laboratory activities to ensure that appropriate analytical test methods are selected and data of
sufficient quality are obtained to ensure compliance with program requirements.
 Extensive experience managing or supporting the analytical, data validation/review, data
management, and reporting tasks associated with projects with litigation level data quality objectives
including all standard and many nonstandard matrices analyzed for full suite chemistry and specialty
analyses regulated by federal, state, and/or project specific quality assurance programs.
 Familiarity with various types of environmental projects including contaminated site investigation and
remediation, remedial investigations/feasibility (RI/FS) studies including human health and ecological
risk assessments, dredged material characterization, drinking water and wastewater compliance,
stormwater and source control studies.




Worked on several comprehensive, ongoing multi-million dollar projects as well as single sampling
events for small sized tasks.
A thorough understanding of numerous analytical methods associated with the EPA SW-846, Standard
Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater, EPA Contract Laboratory Program (CLP), EPA
Drinking Water (500 series), EPA Wastewater (600 series), Northwest Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon
(NW-TPH), Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) petroleum test methods, and
American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).
Experience evaluating data to determine remedial action decisions on behalf of the Washington
Department of Ecology.
Work well independently with little guidance on complex projects.
