Louise Waller worked for nine years as Senior Teaching and Learning
Consultant in Gloucestershire, specialising in Literacy and leading on the
implementation of effective phonics teaching and learning in schools across
the county.
In 2007 Louise joined The National Strategies as a Regional Adviser for
CLLD (Communication, Language and Literacy Development).
Throughout her career Louise has supported consultants and schools within
sixteen Local Authorities across the South West, in implementing an
effective systematic synthetic phonics programme.
The National Strategies ended on March 31st 2011. Louise now runs her
own company SEA (Sound Education Advice) Phonics Ltd and has been
supporting schools in Gloucestershire, Bristol, Hereford and Birmingham
Local Authorities. Louise is an accredited SIA (School Improvement
Advisor) and supports category schools across the country.
