News from Vienna’s museums
State Opera Museum
The State Opera Museum has been closed since 1 September 2014. The exhibits have
been integrated into the inventory of the Theater Museum. A new department is also
being planned. However, the timing of the opening has not yet been set.

Viktor Frankl Museum
To mark the 110th birthday of Viktor E. Frankl (founder of logotherapy), the world’s first
Viktor Frankl Museum will be opened on 26 March 2015. It invites visitors to search for
clues through his life, work and creativity. Guided tours on request.

The Cathedral Museum next to St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna will remain closed for
remodeling until spring 2016.
