Go to: http://www.k-state.edu/admissions/apply
Click on "Apply Now" button
Select Spring 2015
If you do not already have an eID at K-State, you will need to create one. Your eID will be used to
save this application, to obtain a K-State email account, enroll in classes and much more.
Fill out the Personal and Address tabs on the application as directed. The Education tab is not
currently configured for applications to certificate programs. Answer the questions as directed,
but with answers to the specified questions in the Academics Information section as follows:
 “Do you plan to complete a degree?” Select No
 “Are you seeking a post-degree minor?” Select No
 “Are you seeking a certificate?” Select Yes
 “Do you plan to take more than 15 credit hours at K-State?” Select No
 “Where will you be taking K-State courses?” Select Distance Education
 Select the Community-Engaged Leadership Certificate option under the College of
Education
Fill out the Demographics tab as requested
You do not need to fill out the Scholarship tab
Review & Submit with the required application fee
IMMEDIATELY email kstate16@k-state.edu that you have submitted an application and wish to
be part of the Community-Engaged Leadership Spring 2015 cohort!

Have the Registrar’s office from ALL schools you have attended send Official Transcripts to:
