The Norwegian Weightlifting Federation and Tysvær Vektløfterklubb hereby invites
You to take part in the Nordic Weightlifting Championships 2015 for youth and juniors.
COMPETITION RULES
Competition will be held according to the rules of the Nordic Weightlifting Federation
and International Weightlifting Federation.

The organizer reserves the right to reorganize the competition schedule according to the number
of entries.

COMPETITION VENUE
The competition will be held at Tysværtunet, Aksdalsvegen 157, 5570 Aksdal
During the Championships DHS, barbells will be used.
ACCREDITATION
The accreditation procedures will be done at Scandic Maritim Hotel, on Friday November 1st 2013.
All team leaders will receive food stamps for their respective delegation at the Technical Congress.
ENTRIES
Preliminary Entry Forms
Must be returned to the Organizing Committee (Vektlofteforbundet@nif.idrett.no) before
the 23rd of August 2015.
Final Entry Forms
Must be returned to the Organizing Committee (Vektlofteforbundet@nif.idrett.no) before
the 26th of September 2015.

INSURANCE
All Federations must undertake full moral and financial responsibility for their
Respective delegations regarding health and in case of accidents and injuries.
TRANSPORTATION
The Organizing Committee will provide free transportation between Scandic Maritim Hotel and
competition place. We will provide transport from airport to Hotel. It is important that flight arrival
is notified to tvk@tysvervk.net as soon as possible, but no later than 2 weeks before competition.
Awards
Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded for the first, second and third places respectively in
the total.
The best male and the best female junior lifter as well as the best boy and the best girl (under 17)
will receive a special award.
The best team for juniors (men and women) and for under 17 (boys and girls) will receive a team
award.
Do not forget to bring the team awards with you!
THE BALTIC COUNTRIES
The Baltic countries, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, are invited to compete in an open
(Separate) Nordic Championships Competition in these weight category groups:
Youth boys
-69 kg and +69 kg
Youth girls
-58 kg and +58 kg
Junior men
-77 kg and +77 kg
Junior women -58 kg and +58 kg
Lifters will be awarded according to the Sinclair formula. Both Nordic and Baltic countries will
participate in this competition.
