1. Schedule and Attend Orientation - Every GRA (new or returning) must
contact HR via telephone (770-423-6030 ) or email at hr@kennesaw.edu and
identify themselves as a GRA for the fall semester. HR will inform them of the
requirements for orientation and the next scheduled date for orientation.
Orientation is the final enrollment step and the GRA cannot be paid unless
orientation is completed. Please make contact with HR immediately. To not do
so may delay the GRA receiving their first stipend check.
2. Mandatory Health Insurance - The mandatory health insurance fee for Fall
2013 is automatically added to the GRAs Owl Express Account. If the graduate
assistant does not need this coverage offered by this health insurance, they must
complete a waiver of the insurance directly with United Health Care at the
following link:
