Junior Achievement Finance Park will offer a
practical budgeting simulation for all 8th grade
students in Fairfax County Public Schools. Four
weeks of classroom curriculum will culminate
with a day at JA Finance Park – where students
will “put into action” what they learned in the
classroom.
Time Commitment
o Attend one 60 minute training session on day of your scheduled visit.

The day of your visit, you will need to arrive at JA Finance Park 60 minutes prior to your
school’s program start time for this training.
Contact your child’s teacher to get program start times.
Volunteer Responsibilities

Provide guidance and assistance to students.
Facilitate group activities.
Watch for teachable moments.
