Gathering Hymn: Peace is flowing like a River - BB 492
(Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament)
OPENING PRAYER
Jesus, my Lord and God, I bow down in humble adoration before You. From the depths of that humility, I raise
my eyes to You and, in humble supplication to Your Sacred Heart, implore Your mercy and forgiveness for my
many sins. Give me the grace to spend this hour of loving reparation with all the holy dispositions You desire.
Enter into my heart Yourself, dearest Lord, and work your pleasure in it; directing all my faculties, senses and
powers to Your greater honor and glory. Help me to console You for all the wrongdoings Your loving Heart
receives from an ungrateful mankind.
Mary, dearest Mother, and you, great St. Joseph, lend me all the love of your hearts and the love of all the
angels and saints with which to love Jesus more and more.
Teach me to pray, to love, to make reparation and to adore the loving Heart of Jesus -- so often abandoned -hidden in the Most Holy Sacrament of the altar. Amen.
PEACE BE STILL
God, I know you love me and have great plans for me.
But sometimes I am overwhelmed by the thought of my future.
I sense that you may be calling me to religious life or ordained ministry .
Show me how to walk forward one day at a time.
May I have the courage to search openly, learn about my choices,
listen to others for advice, and pay attention to my own feelings,
but most importantly, to listen to you.
By doing this, I trustingly respond to your call,
believing that you will lead me to fullness of life.
My deepest desire is to serve you, so I trust that you will give me
whatever I need to follow wherever you may lead. Amen.
Silent Adoration/Reflection

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I dedicated you,
a prophet to the nations I appointed you. To whomever I send you,
you shall go; whatever I command you, you shall speak". — Jeremiah 1

Opening Hymn:
O God You Search Me - BB 450
Psalms:
All: Ant. Jesus Christ is the radiant light of the Father's glory and flawless
expression of His nature, sustaining the universe by His powerful word; now he
has destroyed the defilement of sin and appeared in glory today on the high
mountain.
Psalm 120:
I lift up my eyes to the mountains
From where shall come my help?
My help shall come from the Lord
Who made heaven and earth.
May he never allow you to stumble!
Let him sleep not, your guard.
No, he sleeps not nor slumbers,
Israel's guard.
The Lord is your guard and your shade;
At your right side He stands.
By day the sun shall not smite you
Nor the moon in the night.
The Lord will guard you from evil,
He will guard your soul.
He will guard your going and coming
Both now and forever.
All: Ant. Jesus Christ is the radiant light of the Father's glory and flawless
expression of His nature, sustaining the universe by His powerful word; now he
has destroyed the defilement of sin and appeared in glory today on the high
mountain.
