MICROFRIDGE UNITS
To satisfy student demand for refrigerators and
microwave ovens in the residence halls, we are
pleased to offer you the opportunity to rent a
Microfridge refrigerator/freezer/microwave oven
unit for the coming academic year. With its
unique combination of features, efficiency and
value, the Microfridge is the only combination
food storage and cooking appliance offered in
our residence halls, and the only microwave
oven permitted on campus (except Apartment
Complex kitchens).

The freezer is a true 0 degree freezer, not a tiny ice
cube holder like in “cube” refrigerators. The 2.1 cu. ft.
refrigerator has movable racks and door storage; and
the 700 watt oven has both a turntable and a
programmable touchpad.

100% guarantee of free repair or replacement if your
Microfridge ever stops working (other than for abuse).

Low cost – cost for the entire academic year is $180.00 –
that’s $90.00 per semester, or about $2.80 a week if you share
the cost with a roommate!

and tripped circuit breakers through low energy usage,
which is why they’re the only units approved for use on
our campus.

If you don’t know your hall/room number, leave these spaces blank. If you and a roommate send duplicate
Microfridge orders, only one unit will be reserved for that room and each person will receive a partial
refund.

MICROFRIDGE SPECIFICATIONS

Microwave Oven : .6 Cu. Ft., interior light, cook/defrost setting, 600 watt cooking power, 300 watt
defrosting power, programmable touch pad, turntable to ensure even cooking.

Freezer: .75Cu. Ft., zero degree compartment keeping items like ice cream, TV dinners & ice cubes
are no problem.

Refrigerator: 2.1 Cu. Ft., adjustable thermostat, removable racks, door storage.

ALLOCATOR: An external power switch that is used to run two appliances off one plug. This
patented circuitry enables safe and efficient operation of the microwave, refrigerator and freezer
without exceeding 10 amps.
