We will use Reminder 101 to send out important information and reminders of upcoming senior events. You
and your parents should sign up to receive these text reminders.
Cap and gown/senior dues: Students may order their cap and gown and pay their senior dues at school on
the dates listed above. The cost is $100 and this covers the cost of their cap and gown and senior dues. This
will be paid directly to Balfour. You may order your cap and gown in person at school on the dates above, or
you may order your cap and gown online. The website is www.gabalfour.com. If you do not order your cap
and gown before April 1st, you will pay a $20 late fee. So, your price will be $120 instead of $100.
Senior dues are different from prom dues. If you did not attend prom last year and would like to attend this
year, you will have to pay prom dues and senior dues. If you attended prom last year, then you only have to
pay senior dues and buy your prom ticket if you would like to attend prom. For questions related to Prom,
please see Mrs. Hilary Wilson. For questions related to graduation, please see Ms. Angie Head, Ms. Casey
Bond, Mrs. Anne Cruikshank, or Mr. Mitch Alligood.
HOLD’S LIST: Please check to make sure your name is not on the hold’s list. You will not be allowed to
participate in the graduation ceremony, receive your final transcript, or receive your diploma until all
holds are cleared. You may ask any of your teachers to see if you are on the holds list.
