Who: Teen Up Youth Ambassadors
What: Senior prom/suit and dress drive
When: February 6, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Minneluzahan Senior Center
Rapid City teen leaders with the Teen Up program are hosting a senior prom! It’s
not the typical high school senior prom though, it’s for the 55+ age group. The
senior prom is taking place February 6, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Minneluzahan
Senior Center.
In the meantime, the teens are hosting a dress and suit drive. Donations of
dresses and suits can be dropped off from now until January 31, during business
hours at the Minneluzahan Senior Center. Seniors who are in need of a dress or a
suit can pick-up their clothing at the senior center between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
February 1 - 5.
Pampering for the senior prom is happening from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. the day of the
event. Volunteers will do hair and nails for all ladies who plan to attend the prom.
