FEES
Application Fee - $15 per media
(nonrefundable- limit 3)
$80 Full table (10 x 3)
$40 half table (5 x 3)
● All fees must be included with the completed
application
● The application fee is non-refundable. The
table fee will be returned if you are not accepted
into the show
TO APPLY
•Each artist wishing to participate must submit
an application. Joint applications will not be
accepted
● Applicants may select a maximum of three (3)
media categories. There is a $15 application fee
pre media
•Submit 3­5 photographs of your art with a
description. One photo should be of the display
from a previous show, if available. We prefer you
send pictures by email. If you send print images
and want them returned, please enclose a selfaddressed stamped envelope or pick up day of
show. Application will not be reviewed without
photos.
•Enclose non­refundable application fee of $15
per media (limit 3) and table fee with your
application. Make checks payable to Greensboro
Farmers Market, Inc.
•A charge of $25 will be assessed for all returned
checks
•Incomplete applications will not be considered
● Acceptance will be emailed by March 10.
•Acceptance not guaranteed based on
participation in previous events at this facility
IMPORTANT DATES
Applications due: Feb. 28 (postmarked Feb.28 or
earlier)
Acceptances emailed: March 10
CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS
After booth fees are paid, applicants are entitled
to the following refund of booth fees upon
cancellation:
 Fri. April 10 by 5:00 pm: 50% refund
 After 5:00 pm April 10: No refund
All revenues received from vendors for this
event are used to cover planning, promotional,
and operational costs.
BASIC INFORMATION
•ALL WORK MUST BE HANDMADE BY THE
APPLYING ARTIST - NO EXCEPTIONS
•Tables provided are approximately 10' wide x 3'
deep (full table) and 5' wide x 3' deep (half
table). Exhibitors must provide all necessary
display equipment and stools for seating
•Maximum of one ten foot table per exhibitor
• No manufactured goods or imports
• No work produced with commercial kits,
molds, patterns, plans, or prefabricated form

SELECTION
● Applications will be reviewed by a committee
of market management and knowledgeable
volunteers
● All applicants will be reviewed for quality of
products and display appearance
● Criteria is based on a need to maintain a
balanced show that represents artists from all
media categories
● The committee will accept artists after a
thorough review of all applications
● All decisions of the committee are final
● Acceptance to one show does not guarantee
acceptance to future shows
● Accepted exhibitors may not transfer the use
of his/her space to another artist
OTHER INFORMATION
● Management reserves the right to remove
from the show - without refund - any exhibit or
portion of an exhibit that is not comparable to
the submitted images. Works displayed for sale
must be consistent with the images submitted
with the application
● Management may also remove any item being
exhibited that is not produced by the artist
● No "sale" and/or "show special" signs allowed
● In the event of cancellations, artists will be
pulled from a ranked waiting list
● Submission of completed application indicates
applicant's agreement to these guidelines
● Greensboro Farmers Market, Inc. reserves the
right to bar participants from future shows if
these guidelines are not followed
● All accepted exhibitors will receive by email of
Event Information email containing event day
set up, check-in, map, parking, etc. by April 17.
We want to support the art community but ask
that you please do not bring event materials
that coincide with GFCM events.
FACILITIES
The Greensboro Farmers Curb Market is an
indoor facility that features ATM on site, public
restrooms, and tables with access to electricity,
free Wi-Fi, and free parking.
The following media categories will be
accepted:
All work must be the original work of the artist.
Items made from manufactured kits purchased
for resale will be removed from display and the
artist will not be invited to return for another
 Candles - handcrafted candles of all types
made by the artist
 Leather - includes hats, handbags, belts, and
other items tooled from leather by the artist
 Personal care products- handcrafted soap,
lotions, bath salts, etc.
 FIBER (ART)- wearable
 GARDEN ART
 GLASS: blown, fused or stained
 PAINTING: decorative or fine art
 JEWELRY Personal adornment such as
bracelets, necklaces and rings made by the
artist: Beaded- from any material, glassfrom glass using lamp-working and fuse
glass techniques, metal smith- using
traditional techniques.
 METAL WORK: forged or altered by the artist
 MIXED MEDIA - combining more than one
media and/or technique to create a single
 PHOTOGRAPHY

ABOUT THE MARKET
Greensboro Farmers Market, Inc. (GFM) operates
the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market on behalf
of the City of Greensboro. GFM is a “501c3”
nonprofit. GFM, Inc.’s Mission is to provide
greater Greensboro with opportunities to
purchase and learn about local food and crafts
while interacting with producers and each other
in a friendly and diverse social setting. In doing
so, GFM, Inc. will encourage and support growth
of local foods and artisan goods businesses to
improve greater Greensboro’s economy, support
better health through healthy eating and build
social and community connections.
