Registered Nurse for a family practice. Performed a pre-assessment on patients for doctor. Obtained
patient vitals and drew any necessary blood work. Called patients with test results. Set up additional
testing as requested by doctor. Spoke with insurance companies to acquire precertification for testing
and set up patient referrals. Ran EKG machine. Collected, tested and analyzed urine samples. Assisted
doctor with male and female exams. Triage patients via phone calls. Dressed sprains and wounds.
Performed ear lavages. Floated as Primary Nurse for other doctors in the practice. Observed by
students in a medical program.
