UNDERTAKING
In the event of my child taking up a place in the Newton International School, I hereby
undertake and agree that:
1. My child shall be subject to the applicable rules, regulations and discipline, as laid
down by the Principal and her designated representatives.
2. To pay the required Registration Fee to the school, which cannot under any
circumstances, be refunded. I understand that if I remove my child from the school
in order to attend another school in Qatar, then I am again liable for the QR 2000/Registration Fee if the child re-enters Newton International School at a later date.
3. I will pay all fees (which will be billed in advance) prior to the commencement of
the term to which they apply, and I realize that there will be no reduction of fees if
my child is absent for part of the term.
4. I absolve the Newton International School, its employees and its agents from any
responsibility for:
 The loss of valuables
 Accidents or mishaps occasioned by participating in normal school life
including, but not confined to, organized sports, gymnastics, informal play,
practical and craft work.
 The welfare and safety of my child outside the normal timetabled day
and/or in activities supervised by members of staff of Newton International
School. The Newton International School will not be responsible for the
safe delivery and collection of children to and/or from the school.
 Any resulting accident or mishap should my child take unilateral action
which is extra-curricular and without permission.
5. I will give the school at least a full term’s notice of my intention to withdraw my
child. If no such notice is given, a full term’s fees will be payable.

I. All fees are payable on a term basis, in advance. All fees are non-refundable.
II. All cheques should be made payable to: - Newton International School.

Guidance Notes for Parents

2. You will be notified of a test date for your child.
3. One week after testing you will be informed by telephone whether the school can
offer a place.
4. To confirm your acceptance of this offer, you must visit the School Office to pay
the QR 2000 Registration Fee. Failure to pay the registration fee will result in this
place being offered to an alternative child.

ABOUT NEWTON INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
Newton International School is a private, international, co-educational School founded in
2006 by Mrs. Afaf K. Al-Moadhadi and Dr. Jabr Al-Noaimi, managed by an international
staff.
It is the mission of Newton International School to provide internationally recognized
pedagogy and curriculum through the National Curriculum of England and Wales, with
Arabic and Islamic Studies, from Pre School through Primary (Years 1 to 6) and
Secondary (Years 7-12) education.
Highly experienced teachers and administrators from Britain, Europe, Australia and the
Middle East serve the students representing 30 nationalities. The Newton International
School educational program prepares students for any further educational endeavors they
wish to pursue.
The program, which is offered in English, is based on the National Curriculum of England
and Wales. Physical Education, Art, Music and IT are offered from Reception class
through Year 11. In addition the school has an extracurricular program.

SCHOOL ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Admission is based on past school records, an entrance assessment, and in some cases, an
interview and an English proficiency test. Newton International School admits qualified
students on a first come, first serve basis.
Collect an Application Form from the School Reception. Complete the Application Form
and return it to the Registrar including the following documents:







Four recent passport size photographs
Copy of the applicant’s passport, including a copy of the visa for non GCC
nationals
Copy of mother’s and father’s I.D. Card, Passports and Visa
Report from previous School
Copy of child’s immunization record
Completed medical form
A signed fee regulations agreement form
When these documents are returned to the school reception, you may apply for a testing
date and time. Testing of students will be held by appointment.
After the test you may apply for an interview with the Principal. Appointments with the
Principal can be made through the School Secretary.
All required documents MUST be completed and submitted before a placement is made.
The school will not retain any documents if the admission is not granted.

FEE REGULATION FORM – NIS D-RING CAMPUS
(Please refer to the fee regulations as set out in the Undertaking on the Application

Newton International School has three terms per academic year. The tuition fees set out
below are quoted per term and are payable in advance, prior to the commencement of the
term to which they apply.
Payment methods are by credit/debit card and electronic transfer. Deposit/Transfer
the fees to Qatar National Bank details are:
Newton International School, a/c 0027-019531-001, for transfers outside of Qatar
(swift code: QNBAQAQA). Present the deposit slip to the Accountant after deposit.
If a student is admitted in the first half of a term, a full term’s fees will be charged.
If a student is admitted in the second half of a term, half term’s fees will be charged.

Tuition fees are inclusive of exercise books, paper and other materials as deemed necessary
by staff plus the loan of standard textbooks.
School excursions are not included in the fees

School Withdrawal Policy
Please refer to the stipulations as set out in the Undertaking in the Application Form.

Timely written notification is required if your child is to withdraw from Newton International
School. Please refer to the Undertaking for full withdrawal procedure requirements.

 Working hours start at 5.20 am, and going out from school at 13.10 pm, all the
students must follow the time.
 All the students should be committed to fasten seat belts, be polite and not being
noisy or issuing verbal insult towards each other, if these rules are broken the
administration got the right to terminate the student from bus services.
 The buses administration got the right to transfer any student from bus to another if
it is necessary.
 Bus fees must be paid ONE WEEK before any term, otherwise we apologize for
not starting servicers.
 This request will not be final unless a direct confirmation from the responsible that
the area is covered by this facility and the bus fees paid.
