Sponsorship Program
Dear Potential Sponsor,
We are the Howard County TERPS, the oldest youth football/cheer organization in Howard
County. With 25 plus years of service in the community and more than 3,700 student-athletes,
ages 5-13 years old, have benefited from our program to date. Many have gone on to play and
cheer for their high school and college football programs by building upon the tactics and skills
learned as a member of the Howard County TERPS. We are a 501.3 (c) organization built by
volunteers asking for your support as we continue to build upon the great foundation of our
organization which is deeply rooted in the community we call home.
The support we receive from our local community is essential to our commitment to offer the
highest quality program. We are asking local merchants and corporations to become sponsors of
the TERPS.
Research shows that sponsorships will allow your company to build a loyal customer base by
supporting a cause customers care passionately about… and we the TERPS are passionate! Our
families support those who support us and we are confident that you will see a positive return on
your investment.
All proceeds from our sponsorship program will go directly to the TERPS program. Your
contribution will be used for items such as new practice and game uniforms, rental lights during
practice, festivities during our homecoming weekend and our annual end of the season banquet.
These are just a few examples of how your contribution may be used. In all cases, however, you
can be assured that 100% of your contribution will be used to directly support the TERPS studentathletes – children in our community who need and deserve your support.
Sponsoring our program offers your company a chance to help our student-athletes, and also
provides a wonderful opportunity to advertise your company to Howard County and the
surrounding area consumers as many of our opponents live outside of Howard County. Your
contribution will be greatly appreciated by all our volunteer coaches, board members, parents, and
most importantly the student-athletes of the Howard County TERPS. If we can be or further

Corporate/Merchant Sponsorship Agreement
This agreement, entered into on ______________, 2014 by and between the
Howard County TERPS and __________________________ (Sponsor), is solely for
the purpose of sponsoring youth football and cheer activities. These activities include,
but are not limited to, items such as new practice and game uniforms, rental lights
during practice, organizational festivities (i.e., pre-season kick-off, homecoming
weekend) and our annual end of the season banquet. In consideration of the
Sponsor’s payment, as set forth herein, the SPONSOR will receive recognition and
premiums in the promotions as described in the corporate Sponsorship Program.
