School District No. 38 (Richmond) requires a full time temporary Educational Psychologist to join our

Learning Services Department effective immediately to June 30, 2016

The Educational Psychologist must be capable of working both independently and in a collaborative team environment in the context of the Learning Services Department and with school personnel. This includes professional consultation and supporting educational changes in a variety of contexts. Candidates should demonstrate a clear understanding of school-based decision making as it relates to the collaborative consultation and support which is provided by members of the Learning Services Department. The

Educational Psychologist will be expected to demonstrate an enthusiasm for learning and the professional demeanor and flexibility required to work with adults in a consultative and facilitative manner.

The successful applicant must have completed a School Psychology program attaining a minimum of a

Masters Degree and be a member in good standing, or be eligible to be a member of the British Columbia

Association of School Psychologists or the British Columbia College of Psychologists. A professional teaching certificate and classroom teaching experience is desirable. For further information regarding this position please contact Sarah Loat at sloat@sd38.bc.ca
