Electronic ‘survey’ – this Word document is made up of text boxes

long. When you have finished with the file, please SAVE it , then email as directed at the end. Questions to VPAmericas@icoyc.org.
Dear Fellow Council Members,
March, 2012
As we prepare for the upcoming Forum VII in Hamble, a number have inquired as to the topic of Race
Management as appropriate for the agenda there. As we’ve become aware of the activities of our clubs,
the range of approaches to this activity, and the complexity of resources and personnel involvement
further stirred interest. The simple survey below is asked of you to determine if there is sufficiently broad
interest and to begin to catalog some of the basic information for all members. As always, all replies are
held confidentially as to source, and will be summarized for member review.
We do recognize that there is a vast range of regatta size and complexity, and the information below
cannot treat all conditions. Please just reply for the most usual racing at your club, but NOT for
signature/sponsor titled or World level events. Please reply to the questions with your best knowledge,
but do not worry about doing special research for this round. If the topic is included in the Forum agenda,
those presenting will surely investigate in detail.
