Using Essential Oils
I was recently introduced to doTERRA Essential Oils. It made sense to move to a
more natural approach to replace over-the-counter medicine and products. After all,
I was already taking a more natural approach to living and striving for a non-toxic
home environment for my family. At first, I wasn’t convinced of the
”benefits” to
essential oils. So, I started slow. I bought an introductory kit and experimented with
some of the basics. Then I began to use the oils to help with sore muscles, fighting off
colds and flus, headaches and especially with stress. Now the oils are part of my
daily routine and especially my nightly sleep ritual.
The essential oils are a great way to enhance fertility in addition to your

My only disappointment with the essential oils was not starting them sooner.

There are 2 ways to purchase doTERRA oils: retail or wholesale.

2. Wholesale: Preferred Member or Wellness Advocate

Preferred Members: Pay a one-time fee of $10 and receive 25% off
retail prices.

Wellness Advocate (WA): Pay only $35 and receive 25% off retail
prices, plus perks. Don’t let the title – WA– scare you. You DO NOT
have to sell or market the product. Instead, think of it as the ideal way
to receive greatest discount, free products, cash points, and in some
cases - commissions, for sharing with friends and family.
Preferred members and WA’s can (and should) participate in the Loyalty
Rewards Program (similar to programs like frequent flyer miles or points on
credit cards). It’s optional, but so worth it. More on this later.
There are 3 ways to use the oils: as a user, sharer, or business (builder). Most people
fall into the “sharer” category.
A Wellness Advocate account costs $35/year* (aka wholesale account.) It’s a lot like
purchasing a membership to Costco - one annual fee for savings all year long.
(Membership renewal is only $25 each year, PLUS you’ll automatically get a free bottle
of peppermint oil - which retails at $27, so it’s a wash.)
In my opinion, a Wellness Advocate account is your best option. There is no
pressure to sell products or host parties. You are free to use the oils and share your
experience with others as/if you wish.
* To waive the $35 enrollment fee: Purchase an Enrollment Kit. This is not required,
but it is the best way and most cost effective way to get started.

Interested in becoming the “healer in your home?”
Here’s how to get started:
1. Click over to the sign up page.
2. Select “Join as a new Wellness Advocate” or Preferred Member (depending on
what you decided. Still not sure, contact me at sarah.clark@sesacoaching.ca and we
can discuss further).
3. The “Enroller ID” and “Sponsor ID” boxes should already be filled in for you. But if
not, enter _______ in both boxes.
4. Fill out your name, billing address, shipping address, and contact info.
(NOTE: For IPC account: The reason you are asked to list your social insurance number
of social secuirty is for tax purposes. If you make over $600/year selling doTERRA
products, you will receive a 1099 form in the mail or Revenue Canada form, as is
required by law. doTERRA will never share this info with anyone.)
5. Select your time zone and choose a virtual office password.
6. Agree to Terms & Conditions and the Virtual Office User Agreement.
7. Select your enrollment order. This is where you can specify which enrollment
kit you would like -OR- if you’d rather not start with a kit, simply select the
Introductory Packet ($35) option.
You can also purchase other items at this time if you wish.
8. Set up your optional Loyalty Rewards Program (LRP).This is not a
requirement, although it is a money-saving way to build your oil collection.
doTERRA’s Loyalty Rewards Program (LRP) provides free
product credits for
monthly purchases ordered on the
program and is the most economical way to
purchase
doTERRA oils. As a participant in the Loyalty Rewards
Program, you will
immediately begin to earn product credits that can be used as cash to purchase
doTERRA products. The longer you participate in the LRP, the more credits you can
earn–up to 30% of your total monthly Loyalty Rewards purchases.
If you decide that this is something you are interested in, select the products you
would like to ship in your first LRP order (which would be next month). You can
change the products from month-to-month through your Virtual Office.
You will also need to select a ship date. (This is the day each month when you order
will go out. I recommend shipping your order before the 15th of each month and
writing this down on your calendar so you can go into your virtual office and change
your product choice before it ships)
9. You’re done. Congratulations! You will receive a confirmation email– you can
log into your back office right away to manage future orders, check out other
members on the team of IPC’s, etc.)
